“科学-技术-社会-环境”（STSE）讲坛简介
当今世界正面临着全球性的生态危机、环境破坏、资源枯竭、冲突频发、食品安全、信仰危机等威胁人类生存的严重问题，不可持续的发展模式值得我们每一个人反思。“科学-技术-社会-环境（STSE）”四个方面应该如何相互促进、协同发展，实现人类社会从农业文明、工业文明向生态文明的转型？如何建设可持续发展的和谐世界？
中国农业大学科技史与科技哲学同仁，秉承“解民生之多艰，育天下之英才”的校训，不辱专业使命，联合校内多个学科，创建综合性“科学-技术-社会-环境”教学与研究中心，开辟STSE讲坛，搭建有利于文理多学科交叉与交流的平台。诚邀国内外专家学者、有识之士发表高见，也欢迎高校师生、科技人员、企业人士、媒体朋友、社会公众参与讨论，为培养具有国际化视野、多学科交叉、科创新能力强、综合素质高的未来领袖人才贡献绵薄之力！

主讲人及报告内容简介 （中英文）
Camilo Fautz（政治学硕士；欧洲法律硕士）是德国卡尔斯鲁厄理工大学技术评估与系统分析研究所研究员，吕讷堡大学 (Leuphana University of Lüneburg)政治学教员和博士研究生。他的研究方向是新兴科技的社会和政治层面，以及技术治理中的公民参与。他还关注全球科技政策的文化和伦理方面。目前Camilo是中国科学技术发展战略研究院的访问学者。
关于科技治理中的公民参与问题在欧洲的讨论主要基于两大理论：民主理论和知识社会学。转基因治理在欧洲失败之后，我们看到对于公民参与的制度安排在政治上和学理上的激烈争论伴随着对于参与的大肆宣传。然而，对公民参与寄托的较高的期望与来自不同规范和学理立场的批评纠缠在一起，导致了对科技治理中的参与活动的可能性和局限性的误解。报告人将尝试厘清这些不同的规范和学理立场，从而为科技治理中的公民参与的可能和限度提供一个较为现实的图景。

Camilo Fautz (M.A. political sciences; LL.M.Eur.), is a researcher at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Institute for Technology Assessment and Systems Analysis and a PhD student at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg, faculty of political science. He has a Magister Artium in political sciences and a Magister Legum in European Law. His research focuses on social and ethical aspects of new and emerging sciences and technologies and citizen participation in technology governance. He works on global cultural and ethical aspects of science and technology policy. Currently he is a visiting researcher at the Chinese Academy of Science and Technology for Development.
Abstract: Against the background of what we can roughly conceive as reflexive modernity S&T development policy is gaining more and more importance for the fate of our societies. In my presentation I will explore the framework conditions of S&T policy making – between science, society and policy – in Europe, taking the example of Nanotechnology and its discursive settings. In a further step I will have a closer look on public engagement and its role in responsible S&T policy making.
